Rick Peters, Managing Partner, CEO, Montgomery, Alabama

Rick Peters began his broadcasting career fifty-four years ago as an on air talent in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale market.

In a Programming capacity, Rick has created #1 stations in a wide range of formats including Contemporary Hit Radio, Album Oriented Rock, both Hot and Soft Adult Contemporary, Oldies, and 70's Hits. In the late 80's and early 90's, he was VP/Programming for Sconnix Broadcasting. In the mid 90's, Rick formed Peters Communications, Inc., a full service management, programming and marketing consultancy for the broadcast industry.

In 1997 Rick became the President/CEO of Southern Star Communications, an independent operating division of Capstar Broadcasting Corporation. He created an operating company consisting of 12 markets and 55 individual radio stations throughout the southeast United States. The Southern Star assets, standing alone, would have ranked top 10 in revenue of all radio broadcasting companies’ nationwide in 1999.

Since 2004 Rick has been the Managing Partner of Bluewater Broadcasting, the most listened to radio group in Montgomery, Alabama. He currently performs the duties of the General Manager, and Director of Programming of six of the FM stations, as well as an on air personality for two of the music stations. He is also the Managing Partner of the LLC.

Jennifer Pestrichelli, Parnter, General Sales Manager, Montgomery, Alabama

Jennifer began her sales career with 14 years in the insurance industry, working in property and casualty, life insurance, and insurance premium funding. She rapidly worked her way through the ranks, eventually moving up to owning her own agency, and being the Director of Alabama Insurance Alliance, a statewide insurance association. She was later tapped as a Business Development Officer at Cananwill, (a division of Aon) heading up operations in Washington, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. After a difficult decision to return to Montgomery due to family obligations in 2004, Jennifer chose a new, more “entertaining” career path in the broadcasting business as an Account Executive at the newly formed Bluewater Broadcasting.

In 2005, she transitioned to a position with Montgomery NBC affiliate, WSFA television as an Advertising Executive. In 2010, Jennifer purchased an equity stake in Bluewater. After taking a few years off with her children, she returned to Bluewater full-time in 2016 as the Director of Sales. Today she holds the position of General Sales Manager and is a major shareholder of the company.
